He would never.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Following the verdict, the family was rushed away from the courthouse for their own safety. \u201cWe were like running down hallways, going through elevators,\u201d Wendy said.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing in a teaser clip for a documentary from Fox News\u2019 Tucker Carlson, Kyle <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/self-defense-is-not-illegalwe-made-it-through-the-hard-part-rittenhouse-speaks-after-not-guilty-verdict\">said<\/a> \u201cthe&nbsp;jury reached the right verdict,\u201d adding that \u201cself-defense is not illegal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a rough journey, but we made it through it,\u201d the 18-year-old said. \u201cWe made it through the hard part.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kyle revealed that he has nightmares on a \u201cdaily basis\u201d about the night of August 25, 2020. \u201cIt\u2019s the stuff that keeps you up at night, like once you do get to sleep, your dreams are about what happened and you\u2019re waking up in a dark cold sweat,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s quite scary actually, because the dreams feel so real.
