But he reversed the decision and ordered them released after immigration advocates flagged that the migrants were eligible for deportation protection since they arrived before July 29 [qualifying them for a prior Mayorkas welcome policy], the people said \u2026<\/p>\n<p>News of their release spread on Haitian social media. A month later [in September], about 30,000&nbsp;Haitians crossed the border near Del Rio, Texas, with thousands crowded under a bridge. Those later arrivals, who didn\u2019t qualify for the temporary deportation relief, were subject to a large-scale deportation campaign.&nbsp;The U.S. sent 58 deportation flights to Haiti&nbsp;in September, up from two the previous month, according to public flight tracking data.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Mayorkas flip-flop proved disastrous for Biden\u2019s ratings because it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/18\/tv-networks-spotlight-border-chaos-and-dhs-changes-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prompted coverage by the TV networks<\/a> and cemented public worries about the rising migrant surge. In mid-November for example, Biden\u2019s average ratings for immigration were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/epolls\/other\/president-biden-job-approval-immigration-7359.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">29 percent positive, 61 percent negative<\/a>, according to RealClearPolitics.com.<\/p>\n<p>His policy reversal also proved disastrous for 8,000 of the migrant Haitians, many of whom were lured out of jobs and homes in southern America by Mayorkas\u2019s summer-long welcome for the prior Haitian arrivals.<\/p>\n<p>TheWorld.org&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/theworld.org\/stories\/2021-11-08\/haitians-deported-us-face-stark-reality-back-home-some-are-making-plans-migrate\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">reported<\/a>&nbsp;November 8:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote readability=\"28\">\n<p>In Haiti, many [of the] people [deported from the U.S.] are having to start all over again, without anything back at home, while others are still trying to figure out how to reach the US. This includes people like Dessecia and Dianie, who said they were 15 when they left Haiti, and now, at age 19, are among those who were recently deported back. They asked that their full names not be used because they plan on trying to enter the US again.<\/p>\n<p>The two lived in Chile for about four years before deciding to migrate to the US in September. At the border, they were taken into custody and held for weeks at a detention facility, where they met, before being put on a deportation flight.<\/p>\n[\u2026]\n<p>Esthere Thomas was deported about a month ago from the Texas border with her 11-year-old daughter. They also migrated first to Chile, which once allowed Haitians to enter with ease.&nbsp;Thomas got by as a housekeeper until Chile\u2019s policies changed and there was a rumor that the Biden administration was allowing all families into the US. She and her daughter trekked thousands of miles from Chile to the US border.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>DHS spokeswoman&nbsp;Marsha Espinosa dismissed the evidence of Mayorkas\u2019 shifting decisions, saying his agency sees internal disagreements of opinion \u201cas a hallmark of good ideas and good government,\u201d the <em>Journal<\/em> wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Mayorkas presents himself as a champion for migrants, even though hundreds of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/10\/05\/reports-joe-bidens-open-border-disaster-killed-hundreds-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">migrants are dying<\/a>, or are losing their little wealth, as they try to research his border welcome.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJustice is our priority,\u201d Mayorkas&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=A-ZUvKzmn_I\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">declared<\/a>&nbsp;at&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.judiciary.senate.gov\/meetings\/10\/20\/2021\/oversight-of-the-department-of-homeland-security\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">a November Senate hearing<\/a>, adding \u201cThat includes securing our border and providing relief to those [migrants] who qualify for it under our laws.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mayorkas is a child refugee from Cuba and a&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.post-gazette.com\/opinion\/Op-Ed\/2021\/10\/27\/Alejandro-N-Mayorkas-Fight-ongoing-to-eradicate-hate-3-years-after-Pittsburgh-tragedy\/stories\/202110270026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">pro-migration zealot<\/a>&nbsp;who is opening many doors in the border for economic migrants.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18070130\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"36\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Migrants.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18070130\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Migrants.jpeg\" alt=\"Haitian migrants, part of a group of over 10,000 people staying in an encampment on the US side of the border, cross the Rio Grande river to get food and water in Mexico, after another crossing point was closed near the Acuna Del Rio International Bridge in Del Rio, Texas on September 19, 2021. (Paul Ratje\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>In June, for example, he argued that the dignity of migrants is the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/06\/09\/mayorkas-dignity-of-migrants-is-foremost-dhs-priority\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">foremost<\/a>\u201d duty of his agency. In May, he said the agency\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/05\/04\/dhs-mayorkas-ignores-americans-border-our-highest-priority-is-to-help-migrant-families\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">highest priority<\/a>\u201d is the return of lawfully deported adults to live with their left-behind children in the United States. In December 2020, he claimed an amnesty would&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/12\/04\/joe-bidens-dhs-pick-promises-wage-raises-amnesty-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">raise wages<\/a>&nbsp;for Americans.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2021, he said migrant-owned companies \u201care&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/05\/03\/dhs-majorkas-immigrants-are-backbone-us-economy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the backbone<\/a>&nbsp;of our communities \u2014 and of our country.\u201d&nbsp;In September 2021, he reminded migrants that they can&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/25\/mayorkas-tells-migrants-how-to-get-through-title-42-border-barrier\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claim fear of torture<\/a>&nbsp;to avoid a quick expulsion.&nbsp;In 2013, Mayorkas&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/fVpXrJBIHH8?t=108\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">declared<\/a>&nbsp; that Americans\u2019 homeland is \u201ca nation that always has been and&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fVpXrJBIHH8&amp;t=108s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">forever will remain<\/a>&nbsp;a Nation of Immigrants.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In numerous events, including the November Senate hearing, Mayorkas has insisted that the nation\u2019s values require a welcome for migrants \u2014 even though&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org\/sites\/default\/files\/research\/what_immigration_issues_do_americans_hold_sacred.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">less than one-third<\/a>&nbsp;of Americans support the \u201cNation of Immigrants\u201d claim.<\/p>\n<p>Many&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/11\/zuckerbergs-investor-lobby-promises-wages-raises-with-amnesty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">polls show<\/a>&nbsp;that labor migration is&nbsp;deeply&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/immigration-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unpopular<\/a>&nbsp;because it damages ordinary Americans\u2019&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/03\/12\/bloomberg-opts-h1bs-take-two-three-new-tech-jobs-each-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">career<\/a>&nbsp;opportunities, cuts their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/04\/08\/elite-academics-hide-amnesty-wage-pain-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wages<\/a>, and raises their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/06\/16\/new-yorks-mayoral-rivals-vow-cheap-housing-plus-more-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rents.<\/a>&nbsp;Migration also curbs Americans\u2019&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/07\/11\/president-trump-wins-big-on-secret-meatpacking-robots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">productivity<\/a>, shrinks their political&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS946US946&amp;oq=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;aqs=chrome..69i57j69i58.10228j0j4&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">clout<\/a>, widens&nbsp;regional wealth&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/08\/13\/zuckerbergs-data-says-amnesty-gives-economic-windfall-coastal-democratic-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gaps<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/01\/survey-elite-imposed-migration-is-transforming-national-politics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">radicalizes<\/a>&nbsp;their democratic, compromise-promoting civic&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/search\/?s=%22white+supremacy%22#gsc.tab=0&amp;gsc.q=%22white%20supremacy%22&amp;gsc.page=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">culture<\/a>, and allows elites to ignore&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Diseases_of_despair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">despairing Americans<\/a>&nbsp;at the&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JorgeAl49986803\/status\/1439791277571145737?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">bottom of
