The mother hardly ever gets any mention \u2014 she only focuses on the black side of her family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hannah-Jones\u2019s father was \u201cdischarged under murky circumstances\u201d from the military and \u201chad to take menial jobs for his entire life,\u201d leading to the perception that \u201che\u2019d been cheated,\u201d Grabar said.<\/p>\n<p>She also explained that Hannah-Jones was subject to the notorious busing policy of the 1960s and 1970s, where children were \u201ctaken away from their communities, from, you know, where their friends are from and where their churches are, into a sort of an alien place, and they have difficulties.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<div id=\"attachment_18844714\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"36\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-1353852302.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-18844714\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-1353852302-1024x683-1.jpg\" alt width=\"990\" height=\"660\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>The new book by journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones, \u201cThe 1619 Project: A New Origin Story\u201d is displayed at a New York City bookstore on November 17, 2021 in New York City. (Spencer Platt\/Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>She \u201cwas bused to a majority-white school in a nicer neighborhood,\u201d Grabar said of Hannah-Jones. \u201cSo, from second grade, she was bused one hour each way to this nice school and she recently recounted how she observed the changes, as she was riding along, how the houses got nicer, you know, the streets were kept up, and she was going into this \u2018white world,\u2019 and there she claimed she was not taught black history.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom a historical perspective, we can see [how] the bad policies of the 1960s and 1970s, which produced busing, and produced these radical activists who are writing these false histories \u2014 these were being taught in the schools to people like Nikole Hannah-Jones, who has risen to the top by producing this false narrative of American history, and weaving it in with her own personal story,\u201d Grabar said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, someone who probably could have benefitted from psychotherapy is now being exalted and placed on a platform as a historian whose, you know, are worthy of being taught in schools K through 12, and at the college level,\u201d she concluded.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"5.8823529411765\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Hear that?
