Eighty percent of Democrats approve of Biden\u2019s handling of the presidency, while just five percent of Republicans approve. Of independents, 39 percent approve of the president\u2019s performance, and 61 percent disapprove.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>The survey reveals that 39 percent of respondents approve of Biden\u2019s handling of the economy, while 61 percent of participants disapprove. Seventy-three percent of Democrats approve of Biden\u2019s handling of the economy, while just six percent of Republicans approve. In terms of independents, 32 percent approve of the president\u2019s job on the economy, and 68 percent disapprove.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18849442\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/biden-approval.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-18849442 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/biden-approval.png\" alt=\"CBS\/YouGov\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>CBS\/YouGov<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Four percent of respondents classified \u201cthe condition of the national economy today\u201d as \u201cvery good.\u201d Twenty-six percent rated the condition of the national economy as \u201cfairly good,\u201d while 33 percent stated it was \u201cfairly bad.\u201d Thirty-one percent labeled it \u201cvery bad,\u201d and six percent were \u201cnot sure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In looking at Biden\u2019s handling of inflation, 33 percent of total respondents approve, and 67 percent disapprove. Moreover, of Democrats, 62 percent of participants approve of the president\u2019s approach to inflation, while 38 percent disapprove. Conversely, five percent of Republicans approve of Biden\u2019s handling of inflation, and 95 percent disapprove. Of those, thirty-seven percent said things were going \u201csomewhat badly\u201d and 33 percent stated things are going \u201cvery badly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eighty-two percent of those surveyed report that items they usually buy while shopping are \u201ccosting more than they did not long ago,\u201d and 64 percent stated that items they typically purchase are \u201coften not in stock.\u201d Fifty-five percent expressed items they usually order are \u201ctaking longer to be delivered to\u201d them.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18849458\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/effect-higher-prices.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18849458\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/effect-higher-prices.png\" alt=\"CBS\/YouGov\" width=\"620\" height=\"349\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>CBS\/YouGov<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Americans also seem to be cutting back on spending, according to the poll. Seventy-five percent of respondents said they \u201c<span>Order or go out to eat less often,\u201d and 78 percent stated they have \u201c<\/span><span>Cut back on holiday gift shopping. Seventy-one percent reported they&nbsp; \u201cScale back on holiday parties and celebrations.\u201d Eighty percent indicated they now \u201cDelay purchasing a big-ticket item,\u201d and 79 percent shared that they \u201ctake fewer trips.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The CBS\/YouGov poll was conducted between November 15-19 and sampled 2,058 U.S. adult residents.
