Gavin Newsom\u2019s decision to lift stay-at-home orders in the Sacramento area despite it still reporting low ICU capacity.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Dr. Ghaly did not provide data to support the move. He only stated it was based on a projection for ICU capacity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have to look about four weeks out, so that\u2019s why you came in it one way\u2026we exited through the order in a different way,\u201d he stated. \u201cSome of these elements can easily become less reliable or unstable based on community testing.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/California?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#California<\/a> Regional Stay at Home Order has been lifted, and now all counties are under the reopening guidelines of the Blueprint for a Safer Economy.<\/p>\n<p>To find out which tier your county is in and what activities are allowed, visit: <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/6LZ1lTWul4\">https:\/\/t.co\/6LZ1lTWul4<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/74awhTMGOe\">pic.twitter.com\/74awhTMGOe<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 CA Public Health (@CAPublicHealth) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CAPublicHealth\/status\/1354197660748685318?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 26, 2021<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Gov. Newsom had previously mandated lockdowns for any region that had less than 15 percent ICU capacity. As of Wednesday, the day after the stay-at-home order was lifted, the Greater Sacramento Region had an ICU capacity of just under 10 percent.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Case rates remain high throughout California.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the state remains in Purple, our most restrictive tier.
