Version: 4.0.47--><div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/AP19110657073153-2-640x335-1.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\" \/><\/div>\n<p class=\"subheading\">The immigration expansions in the House-passed Build Back Better bill are \u201cthe most historic immigration reforms in more than thirty years\u201d says an investor advocacy group.<\/p>\n<p>But there is minimal coverage in the establishment media of the law that would legalize 6.5 million illegals and also add \u201cmillions\u201d of migrant workers, consumers, and voters to Americans\u2019 society, according to the Congressional Budget Office.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>The \u201cimmigration provisions in the Build Back Better (BBB) Act would be the most historic immigration reforms in more than thirty years,\u201d says a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fwd.us\/news\/immigration-build-back-better\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a> from FWD.us, a pro-investor advocacy group founded by Mark Zuckerberg.<\/p>\n<p>The group inserted provisions in the bill that allow millions of foreign consumers and perhaps one million foreign graduates in U.S jobs to buy green cards above the annual caps. \u201cThese measures would provide long overdue relief to [contract-worker] families trapped in the backlogs, and \u2026 making the U.S. an even more attractive destination for highly skilled [job-seeking] people from around the world,\u201d said FWD.us statement, which is now pushing the Senate to quickly pass the visa giveaway<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018historic\u201d description is echoed by other groups.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The pro-business, FWD.us-backed Niskanen Center <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/05\/white-house-media-hide-largest-update-to-our-immigration-system-in-30-years\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">says<\/a> \u201cthese provisions would be largest update to our immigration system in 30 years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Congressional Budget Organization says the bill will allow \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/19\/cbo-joe-bidens-bill-will-invite-millions-of-new-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">millions<\/a>\u201d of extra migrants to get legal status in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>But coverage of the green-cards-for-cash provision has been minimal in the establishment media \u2014 even though the establishment\u2019s reporters know that Senate Democrats are trying to push the expansions past the 50 GOP Senators and the Senate\u2019s parliamentarian.<\/p>\n<p>The minimal coverage is surprising because the reporters are members of the economic class that is most threatened by the cash-for-green-cards rule \u2014 house-buying, white-collar professionals who want to get their kids into good universities.<\/p>\n<p>This fast-track process helps investors to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/05\/white-house-media-hide-largest-update-to-our-immigration-system-in-30-years\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">do what they prefer<\/a>: Sideline a generation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/04\/democrats-latest-amnesty-creates-subservient-workforce\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">outspoken U.S. graduates<\/a>&nbsp;by instead importing a vast supply of clever and subordinate foreigners who will rationally work&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/10\/29\/democrats-migration-bill-rewards-hiring-discrimination-against-us-graduates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">as lower-wage, compliant, indentured employees<\/a>&nbsp;to get their life-changing green cards.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>But the silence also reflects the stealth strategy adopted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/09\/13\/zuckerbergs-astroturf-empire-this-year-amnesty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">investors<\/a>, progressives, and their elite lobbyists and networks of covertly-funded astroturf groups. This stealth strategy is a big shift from 2013 and 2014 when <a href=\"https:\/\/sunlightfoundation.com\/2013\/03\/25\/immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a $1 billion P.R. barrage<\/a> by pro-migration groups failed to dent the public\u2019s deep and rational opposition to easier migration l0w-wage workers.<\/p>\n<p>So, in 2021, the Associated Press&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/triblive.com\/news\/world\/democrats-sweeping-social-climate-bill-passes-divided-house\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">November 19 coverage<\/a> of the legislation did not mention the green card expansion.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The <em>Washington Post<\/em>\u2018s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/us-policy\/2021\/11\/19\/immigration-biden-spending-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">November 19 article<\/a> did not mention the green card expansion.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>New York Time<\/em>s\u2019 main <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/11\/19\/us\/politics\/house-passes-reconciliation-bill.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">November 19 article<\/a> on the House approval of the BBB bill suggested there were no migration provisions:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"8\">\n<p>Democrats must also ensure that the entire plan adheres to the strict rules that govern the reconciliation process and force the removal of any provision that does not have a direct fiscal effect. Those rules have already forced the party to abandon a plan to provide a path to citizenship in the bill for undocumented immigrants.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A sidebar article, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2021\/11\/18\/upshot\/whats-in-democrats-reconciliation-bill.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">titled<\/a> \u201cEverything in the House Democrats\u2019 Budget Bill,\u201d includes this number-less passage: \u201cAllows individuals to pay a fee to access green cards faster; makes unused family- and employment-based visas from past years available for use, among other changes\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Bloomberg <a href=\"https:\/\/about.bgov.com\/news\/immigrants-gain-limited-protection-backlog-help-in-budget-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">included a mention<\/a> of the green-cards-for-cash rule, but provided no estimate of the scale:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"8\">\n<p class>The bill would \u2026 allow some foreigners to fast-track applications to adjust to legal permanent resident status and sidestep some numerical limits on visas, including per-country caps that have left hundreds of thousands of Indians in limbo.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>One of Bloomberg\u2019s reporters, however, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ellengilmer\/status\/1461717245193773061?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"9\">\n<p>The legal immigration measures, meanwhile, are MAJOR. Would salvage unused green cards going back decades &amp; allow people to fast-track status adjustments &amp; skip per-country caps that have left hundreds of thousands of Indian nationals (&amp; others) in limbo<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Most 0f the bill\u2019s supporters are downplaying the raised immigration numbers.<\/p>\n<p>Indian-born Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) buried the migration expansions as the <a href=\"https:\/\/jayapal.house.gov\/2021\/11\/19\/build-back-better-act\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ninth bullet<\/a>&nbsp;in her press release, as \u201chumane immigration reform.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The American Immigration Council, a spin-off of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org\/news\/house-moves-immigration-reform-budget-reconciliation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">downplayed<\/a> the change:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"8\">\n<p>The immigration provisions included in the House\u2019s budget reconciliation package could transform the lives of millions of immigrants and families across the country \u2026.&nbsp;The House bill also includes critical improvements to our immigration system to help individuals and employers who have been stuck in limbo for far too long finally obtain the security of permanent status in the United States.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Sean McGarvey, the president of the&nbsp;North America\u2019s Building Trades Unions (NABTU), touted the bill without mentioning the impact of the extra migration on U.S. construction workers:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"11\">\n<p>This historic investment will take unprecedented steps forward by&nbsp;creating middle class jobs in the renewable energy sector, increasing&nbsp;labor protections and penalties for low road contractors and&nbsp;offering working families more&nbsp;access to pre-apprenticeship programs, affordable childcare,&nbsp;early childhood education programs&nbsp;and elder care.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Many&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/11\/zuckerbergs-investor-lobby-promises-wages-raises-with-amnesty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">polls show<\/a>&nbsp;that labor migration is&nbsp;deeply&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/immigration-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unpopular<\/a>&nbsp;because it damages ordinary Americans\u2019&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/03\/12\/bloomberg-opts-h1bs-take-two-three-new-tech-jobs-each-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">career<\/a>&nbsp;opportunities, cuts their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/04\/08\/elite-academics-hide-amnesty-wage-pain-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wages<\/a>, and raises their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/06\/16\/new-yorks-mayoral-rivals-vow-cheap-housing-plus-more-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rents.<\/a>&nbsp;Migration also curbs Americans\u2019&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/07\/11\/president-trump-wins-big-on-secret-meatpacking-robots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">productivity<\/a>, shrinks their political&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS946US946&amp;oq=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;aqs=chrome..69i57j69i58.10228j0j4&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">clout<\/a>, widens&nbsp;regional wealth&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/08\/13\/zuckerbergs-data-says-amnesty-gives-economic-windfall-coastal-democratic-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gaps<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/01\/survey-elite-imposed-migration-is-transforming-national-politics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">radicalizes<\/a>&nbsp;their democratic, compromise-promoting civic&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/search\/?s=%22white+supremacy%22#gsc.tab=0&amp;gsc.q=%22white%20supremacy%22&amp;gsc.page=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">culture<\/a>, and allows elites to ignore&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Diseases_of_despair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">despairing Americans<\/a>&nbsp;at the&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JorgeAl49986803\/status\/1439791277571145737?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">bottom of society<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For many years, a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/03\/30\/harvard-harris-poll-5-in-6-americans-want-to-end-immigration-from-mexico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wide<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/01\/14\/poll-americans-want-companies-hire-americans-before-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">variety<\/a>&nbsp;of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/04\/13\/ipsos-poll-nearly-8-in-10-americans-want-immigration-moratorium-for-u-s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pollsters<\/a>&nbsp;have&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2019\/08\/05\/poll-swing-voters-hugely-oppose-2020-democrats-promising-more-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shown<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2020\/04\/24\/poll-trumps-opponents-applaud-his-jobs-for-americans-immigration-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deep<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2017\/01\/31\/poll-shows-public-support-trump-migration-poicy\/\" target=\"_blank\"
