We\u2019re thankful&nbsp;for this family and their donation,\u201d the department&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wric.com\/news\/local-news\/henrico-county\/henrico-police-work-with-anonymous-family-to-deliver-thanksgiving-meals\/\">wrote<\/a> in a statement, according to WRIC.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Authorities said the family, who asked to remain anonymous, donated the turkeys and additional food items for the department to deliver to nearly 30 households.<\/p>\n<p>According to HPD, it was the second year the family donated meals to its neighbors.<\/p>\n<p>The department added that members of the Henrico School Services Unit would deliver the food to people all over the county to help them connect with neighbors and create positive relationships.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cHenrico Police was contacted by an anonymous donor again this year to start the holiday season off in a great way,\u201d police <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HenricoCountyPolice\/posts\/265001632323773\">said<\/a> in a social media post along with photos of officers delivering the meals:<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-post\" data-href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HenricoCountyPolice\/posts\/265001632323773\" data-width=\"640\" readability=\"25.311111111111\">\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/graph.facebook.com\/100064418150202\/posts\/265001632323773\/\" class=\"fb-xfbml-parse-ignore\" readability=\"8.1888888888889\">\n<p>Giving back,Henrico Police was contacted by an anonymous donor again this year to start the holiday season off in a\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Posted by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HenricoCountyPolice\">Henrico County Police<\/a> on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/graph.facebook.com\/100064418150202\/posts\/265001632323773\/\">Friday, November 19, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThe person donated 30 complete Thanksgiving meals and asked two things from us. They wanted to remain anonymous and for us to find and deliver the dinners to 30 deserving families throughout Henrico County. This afternoon, we did just that,\u201d the post continued and thanked the donor.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Henrico County Police Division\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/henrico.us\/police\/?fbclid=IwAR2VDbimMbNtR88UBzEMbkiJ7IB5QjMkaSDrXhp-Lsf7hGfXDaFgDbxaPoc\">website<\/a>, its values are honor, professionalism, commitment, compassion, and accountability.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Guiding Principle of the Henrico County Police Division is to treat everyone with respect, compassion and dignity,\u201d the site <a href=\"https:\/\/henrico.us\/police\/about\/\">read<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, social media users <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/HenricoCountyPolice\/posts\/265001632323773?comment_id=265497645607505\">praised<\/a> the officers and the donor for the kind gesture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA huge thank you to the donor and always thankful to all our Officers!
