(CourtTV)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Johnson, who represents Wisconsin in the U.S. Senate, cheered the announcement.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI believe justice has been served in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial. I hope everyone can accept the verdict, remain peaceful, and let the community of Kenosha heal and rebuild,\u201d Johnson said.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson noted in an interview how the media has divided the nation on the controversial court case.<\/p>\n<p class=\"speakable\">\u201cWhat this trial has just highlighted is this vast divide in this nation,\u201d Johnson <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/kyle-rittenhouse-murder-trial-vast-divide-nation-ron-johnson\">told<\/a> Fox News. \u201cPresident Biden in his inauguration speech said his primary goal was to unify and heal this nation. He has not accomplished that goal. I wish he would have.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Johnson also raised concerns after MSNBC was banned from trial reentry for allegedly following the jurors\u2019 bus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is not the way our justice system ought to work. Judges shouldn\u2019t be threatened. Juries shouldn\u2019t be threatened. There shouldn\u2019t be intimidation,\u201d Johnson said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCould you blame them if they feel intimidated. They\u2019re going to take the extra time and maybe factor that intimidation, those potential threats, in their decision?
