As previously reported by The Daily Wire, North Dakota became the latest state to ban Critical Race Theory in public schools after Governor Doug Burgum signed a bill into law Friday. North Dakota joins eight other states that have already banned CRT in schools, according to the Brookings Institution. The comments also channeled the sentiment of failed Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe, who infamously said, “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach” at a debate in October. McAuliffe’s Republican opponent, Glenn Youngkin, went on to win the election on November 2 in surprising fashion, running on a platform focused mainly on education issues. The Daily Wire is one of America’s fastest-growing conservative media companies and counter-cultural outlets for news, opinion, and entertainment.
