three black men with rifle\u201d after he was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/law-and-order\/2021\/11\/19\/verdict-kyle-rittenhouse-found-not-guilty-on-all-charges\/\">cleared<\/a> of&nbsp;two charges of murder, one charge of attempted murder, and two charges of reckless endangerment in Kenosha, Wisconsin.<\/p>\n<p>The legacy British news outlet, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2016\/02\/12\/independent-newspaper-goes-online-only-after-tying-its-flag-to-the-mast-of-the-islamophobia-industry\/\">no longer publishes a print edition<\/a> but retains an online audience and influence in the UK media and political sphere, led with \u2018Full story: Teenager who shot three black men with rifle found not guilty on all charges\u201d as the top subheadline of its front-page coverage of the verdict.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>In fact, Rittenhouse\u2019s three assailants \u2014 Joseph Rosenbaum, a 36-year-old&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/clips\/2021\/11\/11\/fncs-carlson-kyle-rittenhouse-has-already-won\/\">convicted paedophile<\/a> who chased Rittenhouse through the streets during a Black Lives Matter riot on August 25th, 2020; Anthony Huber, a 26-year-old with convictions for <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/11\/05\/kyle-rittenhouses-lawyer-says-victim-anthony-huber-has-violent-past\/\">strangulation and suffocation<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wpr.org\/anthony-hubers-girlfriend-says-kyle-rittenhouses-verdict-wont-change-what-happened-it-can-set\">domestic abuse<\/a> who bludgeoned Rittenhouse in the head with a skateboard and appeared to try and grab his rifle; and Gaige Grosskreutz, a 28-year-old with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/16\/prosecutions-witness-kyle-rittenhouse-trial-criminal-record\/\">a range of convictions<\/a> for offences including striking his grandmother, felony burglary, and prowling who himself testified that Rittenhouse did not shoot him <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/08\/watch-prosecution-appears-to-fall-apart-as-rittenhouse-victim-admits-he-pulled-gun-first\/\">until he pointed an unlawfully-carried handgun claims about the night Rittenhouse, then aged 17, exercised his right to lawful self-defence, with no less a person than now-President Joe Biden having <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/12\/kyle-rittenhouse-mom-blasts-biden-for-defaming-son-as-white-supremacist\/\">intimated<\/a> \u2014 without any evidence \u2014 that the teenager was a \u201cwhite supremacist\u201d to a mass audience.<\/p>\n<p>Kyle Rittenhouse\u2019s mother, Wendy, has&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/12\/kyle-rittenhouse-mom-blasts-biden-for-defaming-son-as-white-supremacist\/\">slammed<\/a> the 78-year-old Democrat for having \u201cdefamed\u201d her son, telling Fox News:&nbsp;\u201cPresident Biden don\u2019t know my son whatsoever, and he\u2019s not a white supremacist\u2026 [Biden] did that for the votes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Breitbart London has contacted the Independent to ask if it would be issuing a formal retraction or otherwise commenting on its own claims about Rittenhouse, but received no
