Who Disavowed Rittenhouse &#8212; Silent After Not Guilty Verdict"},"content":{"rendered":"<aside class=\"mashsb-container mashsb-main mashsb-stretched\"><div class=\"mashsb-box\"><div class=\"mashsb-count mash-medium\" style=\"&quot;\"><div class=\"counts mashsbcount\">26<\/div><span class=\"mashsb-sharetext\">SHARES<\/span><\/div><div class=\"mashsb-buttons\"><a class=\"mashicon-facebook mash-medium mash-nomargin mashsb-noshadow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sharer.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.conservativenewsdaily.net%2Fbreaking-news%2Fblack-rifle-coffee-who-disavowed-rittenhouse-silent-after-not-guilty-verdict%2F\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span class=\"icon\"><\/span><span class=\"text\">Facebook<\/span><\/a><a class=\"mashicon-twitter mash-medium mash-nomargin mashsb-noshadow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/intent\/tweet?text=&amp;url=https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/?p=1033101&amp;via=ConservNewsDly\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span class=\"icon\"><\/span><span class=\"text\">Twitter<\/span><\/a><a class=\"mashicon-subscribe mash-medium mash-nomargin mashsb-noshadow\" href=\"#\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span class=\"icon\"><\/span><span class=\"text\">Subscribe<\/span><\/a><div class=\"onoffswitch2 mash-medium mashsb-noshadow\" style=\"display:none\"><\/div><\/div>\n            <\/div>\n                <div style=\"clear:both\"><\/div><\/aside>\n            <!-- Share buttons by mashshare.net - Version: 4.0.47--><div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/Kyle-Rittenhouse-after-being-found-not-guilty-of-all-charges-640x335-1.jpg\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\" \/><\/div>\n<p class=\"subheading\">Black Rifle Coffee was silent on all the company\u2019s social media accounts after the bombshell verdict in the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse came back \u201cNot Guilty\u201d on all five accounts.<\/p>\n<p>The veteran-founded coffee company had distanced itself from Rittenhouse after the teenager took a post-bail photo wearing a Black Rifle Coffee T-shirt and BlazeTV host Elijah Schaffer posted the photo along with the caption, \u201cKyle Rittenhouse drinks the best coffee in America.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Schaffer, whose podcast was sponsored by Black Rifle Coffee, deleted his tweet, and a company spokeswoman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sltrib.com\/news\/2020\/11\/21\/utah-coffee-company-faces\/\">said<\/a>&nbsp;to the <em>Salt Lake Tribune<\/em>, \u201cWe did have a conversation with Schaffer, and he understands that the post was a mistake.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The company\u2019s CEO Evan Hafer also issued&nbsp;a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackriflecoffee.com\/pages\/official-statement-kenosha\">statement<\/a>&nbsp;disavowing any relationship with Rittenhouse that said, \u201cWe do not sponsor nor do we have a relationship with the 17-year-old facing charges in Kenosha, WI.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Breitbart News reached out to Black Rifle Coffee on Friday for comment but received no response.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>While Black Rifle Coffee remained silent, conservatives torched the company on social media.<\/p>\n<p>Mike Cernovich tweeted, \u201cBig L for Black Rifle Coffee Cucks.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"6.3\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Big L for Black Rifle Coffee Cucks.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Cernovich (@Cernovich) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Cernovich\/status\/1461769689865109506?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 19, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Since its disavowal of Rittenhouse, the company has been under fire from the right, which comprises a large portion of its consumer base.<\/p>\n<p>The company has tried to do damage control, only further antagonizing the right.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>After its initial statement, Hafer released a video statement saying that the company believed in the Constitution, the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms, and that a person is innocent until provided guilty, but reiterated that the company did not sponsor Rittenhouse.<\/p>\n<p>The company then dug itself into a hole further after Hafer and the company\u2019s Executive Vice President Mat Best granted in-depth interviews to the <em>New York Times<\/em> in July, where they disparaged the right.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Best compared January 6 Capitol protesters wearing Black Rifle Coffee products to \u201cterrorist organizations that wear American brands when they go behead Americans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you think they want to be part of that? And I\u2019m not drawing a parallel between the two. I\u2019m just simply saying here are things in business, when you grow, that are completely outside your control,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cYou can\u2019t let sections of your customers hijack your brand and say, \u2018This is who you are.\u2019\u2026It\u2019s like, no, no, <em class=\"css-2fg4z9 e1gzwzxm0\">we<\/em> define that.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Hafer acknowledged its disavowal of Rittenhouse may have cost the company customers but said it allowed the company to \u201cdraw a line in the sand,\u201d according to the&nbsp;<em>Times&nbsp;<\/em>article.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018It\u2019s such a repugnant group of people,\u201d Hafer told the <em>Times. \u201c<\/em>It\u2019s like the worst of American society, and I got to flush the toilet of some of those people that kind of hijacked portions of the brand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"css-axufdj evys1bk0\">Hafer added, \u201cThe racism [expletive] really pisses me off\u2026I hate racist, Proud Boy-ish people. Like, I\u2019ll pay them to leave my customer base.
