The heated, three-week-long trial included defense demands for a mistrial and reports of jury tampering. Rittenhouse\u2019s attorney said at a post-verdict press conference that the defendant\u2019s testimony was the difference between a conviction and an acquittal. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/09\/rittenhouse-drone-footage-trial-rosenbaum-kenosha\/\">(RELATED: New Drone Footage At Rittenhouse Trial Reveals Clearest Video Yet Of Rosenbaum Shooting)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The fact that all three of the men Rittenhouse shot were white did not discourage Democratic Missouri Rep. Cori Bush from claiming that his acquittal was \u201cwhite supremacy in action.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis system isn\u2019t built to hold white supremacists accountable. It\u2019s why Black and brown folks are brutalized and put in cages while white supremacist murderers walk free,\u201d she wrote, adding that she was \u201churt,\u201d \u201cangry,\u201d and \u201cheartbroken.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" readability=\"14.234234234234\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The judge. Gov. and Senate candidate Mandela Barnes argued that the acquittal was a \u201csetback\u201d on \u201ca difficult road to justice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have seen so many black and brown youth killed, only to be put on trial posthumously, while the innocence of Kyle Rittenhouse was virtually demanded by the judge,\u201d he wrote in a statement.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" readability=\"10.377358490566\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">We have a difficult road to justice in America, and the verdicts we just witnessed in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial are just another example. No ruling today changes our reality in Wisconsin that we have work to do toward equity, accountability, and justice that communities across our state are demanding and deserve,\u201d Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers <a href=\"https:\/\/content.govdelivery.com\/accounts\/WIGOV\/bulletins\/2fd149d\">added<\/a> in a statement.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Outgoing New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio declared that the two men Rittenhouse killed, Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum, were \u201cvictims\u201d who \u201cshould be alive today, adding that the verdict was a \u201cmiscarriage of justice.\u201d Huber <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/08\/gaige-grosskreutz-testifies-kyle-rittenhouse-in-physical-danger-before-shooting-anthony-huber\/\">chased<\/a> Rittenhouse while carrying a skateboard, while Rosenbaum tried to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/04\/kyle-rittenhouse-trial-richie-mcginniss-testimony-jason-rosenbaum\/\">wrestle<\/a> away his gun.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" readability=\"12.381502890173\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum are victims.
