Trump has not recently announced a campaign for political office.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The video, which was shared on TikTok on Nov. 7, appears to show several scenes from life in a small American town, including shots of a school and construction workers at a job site. A young narrator speaks throughout the clip.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause we are not known for who we are, we hope to be known for what we do,\u201d says the narrator. \u201cWhat we build. This thing we\u2019ve assembled, it has a chance to be remembered. No, we are not famous, but we are incredible. And we make incredible things.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As the narrator makes this last comment, the video pans to an aerial shot of a large wall resembling the one along the U.S.-Mexico border, suggesting the \u201cthing\u201d referenced by the narrator is the border wall. The next scene shows a graphic that resembles Trump\u2019s 2020 presidential campaign <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/wiki\/File:Trump-Pence_2020.svg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">logo<\/a> but instead reads, \u201cTrump Revival.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump promoted building a wall along the U.S. southern border during his 2016 presidential campaign, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-us-canada-46748492\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BBC News<\/a>. Over 400 miles of barriers were built there during his presidency, the outlet reported. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/09\/16\/fact-check-joe-biden-approval-rating-lower-donald-trump-ever\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Is Joe Biden\u2019s Recent 39% Approval Rating Lower Than Donald Trump\u2019s Ever Was?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Text visible at the beginning of the TikTok alleges the video was released by the \u201cTrump Campaign,\u201d but there is no evidence it is affiliated with Trump or his team. It does not appear on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.45office.com\/news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">office<\/a>\u2018s website or on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.donaldjtrump.com\/news\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">donaldjtrump.com<\/a>, which was previously used by his <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20161019080206\/https:\/\/www.donaldjtrump.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2016<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20201029022203\/https:\/\/www.donaldjtrump.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2020<\/a> campaigns. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/margommartin?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Margo Martin<\/a>, a Trump spokesperson, confirmed in an email to Check Your Fact that the video was not produced or released by the former president\u2019s team.<\/p>\n<p>It should also be noted that while there is <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/campaign\/577453-nearly-80-percent-of-republicans-want-to-see-trump-run-in-2024-poll\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">widespread<\/a>&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/trump-2024-campaign-candidacy\/2021\/10\/03\/73af3b12-21f8-11ec-b3d6-8cdebe60d3e2_story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">speculation<\/a> that Trump will run for president in 2024, he has not announced any such plans yet. In a Fox News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/trump-biden-havent-spoken\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">interview<\/a> detailed on Nov. 8, he said he was unlikely to reveal if he would run in 2024 until after the 2022 midterm elections. As such, he does not currently have a \u201ccampaign.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An internet search reveals the majority of the video is actually part of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YW76sMf0kZw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">commercial<\/a> that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=YW76sMf0kZw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kia<\/a>, an automobile <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kia.com\/mt\/about-kia\/kia-company\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">manufacturer<\/a> based in South Korea, aired during <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/superbowl\/history\/winners\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Super Bowl LIII<\/a> in 2019. The commercial advertises the company\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kia.com\/us\/en\/telluride\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Telluride SUV<\/a>. At no point does it mention Trump or show the border wall.<\/p>\n<p>The brief clip showing the border wall appears to have been pulled from a 2017 promotional film commissioned by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=nPo2B-vjZ28\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">84 Lumber<\/a>, an American building materials <a href=\"https:\/\/www.84lumber.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">supplier<\/a>.
