While Democrats have argued that the bill will greatly improve the lives of working class Americans, help address climate change and reduce inflationary measures over the long term, Republicans have sounded the alarm over the package that they say will worsen the crisis at the southern border, massively change government\u2019s role and bankrupt the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis bill is a transformational bill,\u201d Wisconsin Republican Rep. Glenn Grothman said on the House floor Thursday. \u201cIt\u2019s a bill made up by people who think America\u2019s fundamentally broken and we have to make big changes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Democrats, however, have rebuffed Republicans\u2019 concerns, insisting that the bill that would remake the social safety net is <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/29\/joe-biden-build-back-better-agenda-costs-zero-dollars-economists-less-convinced\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fully paid for<\/a>, popular and necessary.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[It] strengthens our economy and changes the lives of millions of Americans,\u201d Connecticut Democratic Rep. Rosa DeLauro, the chair of the House Appropriations Committee, said on the floor, touting the bill\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/23\/94-parents-child-tax-credit-payments-allow-more-work\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">child tax credit<\/a> and health care provisions. \u201cWe have the opportunity to build the architecture for the future for working families, and working and middle class families across this country are counting on us to build a better and stronger America.\u201d&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/05\/house-sends-infrastructure-bill-bidens-desk-after-11th-hour-agreement-between-liberals-moderates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: House Sends First Part Of Biden\u2019s Domestic Agenda To His Desk After 11th Hour Agreements)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7311280\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"34\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-7311280\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">President Joe Biden and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi leave a meeting with House Democrats at the Capitol in late October. (Drew Angerer\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The House finished debate on the bill Thursday morning as Democrats awaited a full score from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO). The score was key to secure support from several moderate Democrats who refused to vote for the package without knowing its potential cost, and the CBO announced early Thursday afternoon that the score would come today, clearing the way for a manager\u2019s amendment and possible vote on final passage in the coming hours.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThose votes will hopefully take place later this afternoon,\u201d said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=D7Cfv_DF74I\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">weekly presser<\/a> Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>While there is little Republicans can do to stop the bill from going to the Senate if Democrats vote unanimously in favor, some of the bill\u2019s most transformational provisions are at risk of being omitted by Democrats themselves. West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin has repeatedly <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/03\/manchin-doubles-down-against-paid-family-leave-being-democrat-budget\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">objected<\/a> to including paid family leave in the budget, likely forcing its exclusion from any House-passed bill given the Senate\u2019s 50-50 split, and he has voiced <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/18\/manchin-demands-democrats-climate-change-child-tax-credit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">concerns<\/a> about climate change and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/26\/manchin-democrats-irs-bank-reporting-proposal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">revenue raising provisions<\/a> alike.<\/p>\n<p>Arizona Democratic Sen. Kyrsten Sinema has already <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/20\/democrats-forced-scrap-tax-increases-budget-due-to-kyrsten-sinema-opposition-joe-manchin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tanked provisions<\/a> to raise taxes on corporations and wealthy Americans, and she has also publicly committed to supporting the package when the Senate votes on it in coming weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of what the final package looks like, Republicans have insisted that the unprecedented spending will nonetheless transform Americans\u2019 lives for the worse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you\u2019re worried about rising prices shrinking your paychecks more and more every month,\u201d Texas Republican Rep.
