Even when he\u2019s completely wrong, and done something horrible. But in a world where everyone is always apologizing for everything, that comes off as refreshing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cuomo then argued Trump supporters believe that \u201cpolitical insiders in the media made up\u201d a lot of things about the former president. \u201cThey don\u2019t watch us or read us so they don\u2019t know what the proof is behind it and his people, his outlets don\u2019t talk about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome of it, yes.\u201d Maher replied, before pointing out, \u201cSomething like Hunter Biden. I mean, if Don, Jr. had done what Hunter Biden had done, it would be every night, all night on MSNBC.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the problem with America,\u201d he continued, \u201ceverything is so binary.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Scandals surrounding Hunter Biden have not been scarce even before the 2020 Presidential election. &nbsp;In October 2020, the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/10\/12\/one-year-later-the-posts-hunter-biden-reporting-is-vindicated-but-still-buried\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New York Post<\/a> was suspended on Twitter for publishing a story regarding Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop that many liberal outlets dismissed at the time as \u201cmisinformation.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/09\/14\/nytimes-stealth-edits-hunter-biden-article\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: New York Times Quietly Updates Report After Calling Hunter Biden Laptop Story \u2018Unsubstantiated\u2019)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Information from Biden\u2019s laptop not only revealed apparent drug use, but also showed that Biden used his father\u2019s political position for financial gain. <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/11\/02\/hunter-biden-laptop-rudy-giuliani\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Emails<\/a> on the hard drive reveal how Hunter tried to leverage his father\u2019s actions as vice president in 2014 to show he was \u201cadding value\u201d to Burisma Holdings, the Ukrainian energy firm where he served as a director.<\/p>\n<p>Another <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/03\/31\/hunter-biden-cefc-china-intelligence-records\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">email<\/a> shows that Biden referred to his father and an employee of a Chinese energy firm, CEFC China Energy, as \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/12\/11\/hunter-joe-biden-cefc-office-mates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">office mates<\/a>\u201d at an office he rented in 2017. CEFC China Energy paid Biden approximately $6 million from August 2017 to September 2018 for consulting and legal services according to a Senate report. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/09\/23\/hunter-biden-senate-report-ukraine-china-burisma\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Hunter Biden\u2019s Business Dealings Created Counterintelligence And Extortion Concerns\u2019, Senate Report Says)&nbsp;<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Maher\u2019s appearance on Cuomo\u2019s show is <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/23\/bill-maher-warns-civil-war-liberals-conservatives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">not the first time<\/a> he has warned against political polarization, and he has been increasingly critical of the left-wing of the Democratic Party.
