Ron DeSantis of Florida will hold a press conference in Brandon, Florida, at Brandon Honda on Thursday in what could be another jab at President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n<p>DeSantis spokesperson Christina Pushaw did not confirm to the Daily Caller News Foundation that the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JoeConchaTV\/status\/1461325670374682628\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">location<\/a> was related to the popular \u201cLet\u2019s Go Brandon\u201d chant, a euphemism for \u201cFuck Joe Biden,\u201d instead focusing on the legislation the governor will sign at the press conference.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGovernor DeSantis is expected<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">&nbsp;<\/span>to sign the bills passed in special session to protect parents\u2019 rights and protect Florida jobs from overreaching Covid mandates,\u201d Pushaw wrote to the DCNF. \u201cCompanies and governments alike will be prohibited from enacting vaccine mandates for employees.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7323234\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" readability=\"36\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-7323234\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">A protestor holds a \u2018Let\u2019s Go Brandon!\u2019 sign in Grand Park at a \u2018March for Freedom\u2019 rally demonstrating against the L.A. DeSantis <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/08\/desantis-brandon-administration-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">defended<\/a> his use of the term against critics in an interview with WPEC CBS12 News reporter Jay O\u2019Brien.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s a joke but honestly, one of the reasons why that has taken on is because a lot of your folks in the national media, they get very sensitive to it,\u201d DeSantis said. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/11\/mandatory-school-masking-ends-florida-broward-miami-dade-alachua-ron-desantis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Mandatory School Masking Ends In Florida)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause what happened was people were chanting something else very colorful. You had a reporter though, say it was \u2018Let\u2019s Go, Brandon\u2019 when that\u2019s not really what was said,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Biden and DeSantis previously appeared alongside each other in the aftermath of the Surfside condominium collapse.
