Ron DeSantis (R) who has waged a public battle against mask and vaccination mandates. He is expected to sign all four measures as soon as they cross his desk, NBC News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/politics-news\/florida-republicans-pass-bills-setting-stage-clash-biden-over-vaccine-n1284076\">reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>The bill is directly aimed at Biden\u2019s vaccination requirements for private employers, which would allow certain exemptions for medical and religious reasons, would impose fines on businesses with mandates that don\u2019t comply with coming state guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>DeSantis was quick to say he looked forward to signing the bills.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"8.285046728972\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I look forward to signing legislation that will protect their jobs and the jobs of all Floridians who are facing unjust termination due to heavy-handed mandates!<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Ron DeSantis (@GovRonDeSantis) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GovRonDeSantis\/status\/1461022459579219986?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 17, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIf you want to get a vaccine, you can get a vaccine. If you don\u2019t want to get a vaccine, you can choose not to get a vaccine,\u201d said Sen. Danny Burgess, a Republican.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s the entire purpose of this bill, trusting Floridians and allowing us to make that choice for ourselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Associated Press <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/coronavirus-pandemic-health-florida-public-health-ron-desantis-126f725978a0bc6cf53b15f23a660f2d\">reported<\/a>&nbsp;the state Health Department, led by Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo, a coronavirus vaccination critic, will determine what qualifies as an exemption after the legislation is signed into law.<\/p>\n<p>As that is considered, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/05\/desantis-announces-lawsuit-challenging-bidens-osha-vaccine-mandate\/\">lawsuit<\/a> launched by DeSantis against the&nbsp;Occupational Safety and Public Health\u2019s (OSHA) emergency temporary standard (ETS) forcing vaccine mandates and mandatory testing on private companies with over 100 employees continues to run.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"video-src-attr\">Ron DeSantis \/ Rumble<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Florida legislature said in a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.flsenate.gov\/PublishedContent\/Offices\/2020-2022\/President\/Documents\/11_17_21_Keep_Florida_Free_Final_Passage.pdf\">statement<\/a>&nbsp;on Wednesday the bill \u201cProtects students, parents, workers and employers in our state by creating a framework for employees to make the best decision for their health and affirming the rights of parents to make health care decisions for their children.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The legislature also said the measure \u201cprotects parental choice on masks, vaccines and quarantine,\u201d continuing the state\u2019s fight with the White House over repeated coronavirus vaccine demands, as Breitbart News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/28\/florida-biden-nasa-coronavirus-vaccine\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, lawmakers passed a bill to stop the state health officer from being able to mandate vaccines during a public health emergency.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"9.6337579617834\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Florida Gov.
