That\u2019s what they do. I\u2019ve put together those National Threat Advisory bulletins before at DHS. I\u2019ve overseen that process before. It\u2019s totally based on line analysts who are looking at information. It\u2019s not based on politics or attempts to suppress free speech.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>He continued, \u201cClearly, what Republicans are doing is they\u2019re hijacking, weaponizing real threats for political purposes. What is sad about this is the Republican Party, my party, used to be the party of public safety, and now it\u2019s becoming the party of political violence.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Taylor added, \u201cWhat\u2019s ironic is that Republicans are going out and trying to cover up these efforts of the Justice Department to look into the threats because they\u2019re worried about where the answers ultimately lead. It\u2019s that those individuals who show up at these meetings and level physical threats of violence against a school board member are likely people who have been inspired by GOP rhetoric.
