You will not be swayed by sympathy, passion, prejudice, or political beliefs. You will disregard any impressions that you may have, which you may believe are my opinion on the guilt or innocence of the defendant,\u201d Schroeder said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou will disregard the claims or opinions of any person, news media, or social networking site,\u201d the judge told the jury. \u201cYou will pay no heed to the opinions of anyone \u2014 even the president of the United States, or the president before him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe founders of our country gave you, and you alone, the power and the duty to decide this case,\u201d Schroeder asserted.<\/p>\n<p>Rittenhouse is on trial for fatally shooting two men and injuring a third during the unrest in Kenosha last August.
