Scott Applewhite)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 7:39 AM PT \u2013 Wednesday, November 17, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) sounded the alarm on the long term consequences of Democrats\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/build-back-better\/\">Build Back Better<\/a> agenda. On Tuesday, The Kentucky lawmaker said economists are pointing to Joe Biden\u2019s March COVID-19 relief bill for the current levels of inflation, adding they also predict his newest spending bill will only make it worse.<\/p>\n<p>McConnell went on to warn Democrats against pushing the bill, while noting 90 percent of Americans are already worried about inflation. Additionally, he claimed Americans\u2019 wallets are going to shrink amid skyrocketing gas and heating prices.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201cAnd now we have reputable economist who actually support BBB, liberal leaning economist, to say that if BBB passes it will only exacerbate, it will only make worse inflation not only this year but next year,\u201d stated McConnell.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">There is no uncertainty about what the number one issue is among Americans: It&#8217;s inflation. <\/p>\n<p>90% of Americans are concerned about inflation. But Democrats want to ignore the people and spend trillions more.
