The gap widened to 10 points when asked whether Biden \u201cis in good health,\u201d with 40% saying yes and 50% saying no.<\/p>\n<p>Americans say 48%-46% that Biden is not \u201cmentally fit,\u201d the poll added.<\/p>\n<p>The poll is a sharp contrast from Morning Consult\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.morningconsult.com\/wp-uploads\/2020\/10\/23190208\/2010136_crosstabs_POLITICO_RVs_v1.pdf\">poll<\/a> from October 2020 where Americans said Biden was mentally fit by a 21-point margin. The 56% who said that Biden was fit was also far higher than the 42% who said the same for <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/09\/29\/chris-wallace-forced-yell-stop-joe-biden-donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">former President Donald Trump<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7061065\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"36\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-7061065\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Then-President Donald Trump and then-Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden arrive onstage for the final presidential debate at Belmont University on October 22, 2020 in Nashville, Tennessee. (Jim Bourg-Pool\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The new survey also showed Biden\u2019s approval at 44%, nine points lower than the 53% who disapproved, in line with other recent polls. Approval of his handling of the economy, security and health care \u2014 three top issues for voters, according to the poll \u2014 were underwater as well, measuring at 40%, 38% and 43%, respectively. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/16\/independents-swing-voters-sour-build-back-better-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Independents, Swing Voters Sour On Build Back Better, Poll Shows)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The poll found that most Americans did not find Biden to be a clear communicator, energetic or a strong leader by margins of 20, 26 and 17 points, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>While Biden\u2019s approval remained underwater, the poll showed congressional Democrats holding their own against their Republican colleagues. The two parties were tied at 43% when voters were asked who they would vote for on a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/14\/gop-largest-lead-midterm-election-vote-40-years-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">generic ballot<\/a>, and Democrats had a higher favorability rating than Republicans, beating them 40% to 37%. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/10\/01\/congressional-democrats-eight-point-advantage-republicans-poll-catch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Congressional Democrats Hold An Eight-Point Advantage Over Republicans, Poll Shows, But There\u2019s A Catch)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The poll was conducted from Nov. 13-15 among 1,998 registered voters.
