Tom Cotton (R-AR): \u201cWhat should be a higher priority of the United States Government? Securing our border or giving amnesty to illegal aliens who are already here?\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cJustice is our priority,\u201d Mayorkas <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=A-ZUvKzmn_I\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">declared<\/a>&nbsp;at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.judiciary.senate.gov\/meetings\/10\/20\/2021\/oversight-of-the-department-of-homeland-security\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a Senate hearing<\/a>, adding \u201cThat includes securing our border and providing relief to those [migrants] who qualify for it under our laws.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cotton asked Mayorkas to compare his border-security record to President Donald Trump\u2019s border numbers: \u201cAre you satisfied that two and a half times as many illegal migrants have crossed into this country this year compared to last year?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo, I\u2019m not,\u201d replied Mayorkas, who then added: \u201cbut worse is to promulgate and operationalize a policy that defies our values as a nation.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<div id=\"attachment_18785194\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"37\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-1236602591.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-18785194\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-1236602591-1024x683-1.jpg\" alt width=\"990\" height=\"660\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Sen. (Drew Angerer\/Getty Images)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>In 2021, Mayorkas has allowed roughly one million illegal and conditionally-legal migrants from many foreign nations across the southern border with Mexico. He has also sought to bring in roughly one million migrants and several hundred thousand foreign contract workers. These legal and illegal migrants compete for the jobs and houses needed by Americans, including the roughly four million Americans who join the workforce each year.<\/p>\n<p>Mayorkas \u201cdoesn\u2019t even consider the possibility that there are competing [justice] interests here,\u201d said Mark Krikorian, the director of the Center for Immigration Studies. By not recognizing the damage caused to Americans by loose migration, Mayorkas subordinates the enforcement of Americans\u2019 immigration laws to his own vision of justice for migrants, said Krikorian:<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"9\">\n<p>There\u2019s no question of justice for Americans, whether less skilled Americans, whether it is American people in general who have an interest in sovereign borders. What he\u2019s saying is that there\u2019s only one aspect of justice that\u2019s relevant here \u2014 and that is justice for illegal aliens.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Legal and illegal immigration imposes huge economic, civic, and personal costs on Americans \u2014 often <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/21\/critics-feds-ok-fortune-500-war-on-u-s-professional-class\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unjust<\/a>, and frequently&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/crime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lethal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Labor migration is&nbsp;deeply&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/immigration-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unpopular<\/a>&nbsp;because it damages ordinary Americans\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/03\/12\/bloomberg-opts-h1bs-take-two-three-new-tech-jobs-each-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">career<\/a> opportunities, cuts their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/04\/08\/elite-academics-hide-amnesty-wage-pain-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wages<\/a>, and raises their&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/06\/16\/new-yorks-mayoral-rivals-vow-cheap-housing-plus-more-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rents<\/a>.&nbsp; Migration also curbs Americans\u2019&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/07\/11\/president-trump-wins-big-on-secret-meatpacking-robots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">productivity<\/a>, shrinks their political&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS946US946&amp;oq=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&amp;aqs=chrome..69i57j69i58.10228j0j4&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">clout<\/a>, and widens&nbsp;regional wealth&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/08\/13\/zuckerbergs-data-says-amnesty-gives-economic-windfall-coastal-democratic-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gaps<\/a>. Migration also&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/01\/survey-elite-imposed-migration-is-transforming-national-politics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">radicalizes<\/a>&nbsp;Americans\u2019 democratic, compromise-promoting civic&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/search\/?s=%22white+supremacy%22#gsc.tab=0&amp;gsc.q=%22white%20supremacy%22&amp;gsc.page=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">culture<\/a>, and allows elites to ignore&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Diseases_of_despair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">despairing Americans<\/a>&nbsp;at the&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JorgeAl49986803\/status\/1439791277571145737?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">bottom of society<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"9.859872611465\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cThis is a sad, unacceptable situation which will continue to go on because there\u2019s more addicts than police.\u201d New strategies to fight the opioid epidemic in Philly, while overdose deaths rose in 2020. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NBCPhiladelphia?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@NBCPhiladelphia<\/a> at 11pm <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/q0z5vbfiqO\">pic.twitter.com\/q0z5vbfiqO<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Aaron Baskerville (@ABaskerville10) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ABaskerville10\/status\/1385383892857901056?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 23, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Mayorkas is a child refugee from Cuba and a&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.post-gazette.com\/opinion\/Op-Ed\/2021\/10\/27\/Alejandro-N-Mayorkas-Fight-ongoing-to-eradicate-hate-3-years-after-Pittsburgh-tragedy\/stories\/202110270026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">pro-migration zealot<\/a>&nbsp;who is opening many doors in the border for economic migrants.<\/p>\n<p>In June, for example, he argued that the dignity of migrants is the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/06\/09\/mayorkas-dignity-of-migrants-is-foremost-dhs-priority\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">foremost<\/a>\u201d duty of his agency. In May, he said the agency\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/05\/04\/dhs-mayorkas-ignores-americans-border-our-highest-priority-is-to-help-migrant-families\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">highest priority<\/a>\u201d is the return of lawfully deported adults to live with their left-behind children in the United States. In December 2020, he claimed an amnesty would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/12\/04\/joe-bidens-dhs-pick-promises-wage-raises-amnesty-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">raise wages<\/a> for Americans.<\/p>\n<p>In April 2021, he said migrant-owned companies \u201care&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/05\/03\/dhs-majorkas-immigrants-are-backbone-us-economy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the backbone<\/a>&nbsp;of our communities \u2014 and of our country.\u201d&nbsp;In September 2021, he reminded migrants that they can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/09\/25\/mayorkas-tells-migrants-how-to-get-through-title-42-border-barrier\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claim fear of torture<\/a> to avoid a quick expulsion.&nbsp;In 2013, Mayorkas&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/fVpXrJBIHH8?t=108\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">declared<\/a>&nbsp; that Americans\u2019 homeland is \u201ca nation that always has been and&nbsp;<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fVpXrJBIHH8&amp;t=108s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">forever will remain<\/a>&nbsp;a Nation of Immigrants.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In numerous events, including the Senate hearing, Mayorkas has insisted that the nation\u2019s values require a welcome for migrants \u2014 even though <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americanimmigrationcouncil.org\/sites\/default\/files\/research\/what_immigration_issues_do_americans_hold_sacred.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">less than one-third<\/a>&nbsp;of Americans support the \u201cNation of Immigrants\u201d claim.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_18785202\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" readability=\"34\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-1236602157.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-18785202\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/GettyImages-1236602157-1024x683-1.jpg\" alt width=\"990\" height=\"660\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\"><em>Sen.
