It will be their first home. They will be born on these colonies, they will live on these colonies. They may visit Earth the way you would visit Yellowstone National Park.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Bezos went on to add that the Earth is the \u201cmost precious planet\u201d and it is up to humans to \u201cpreserve it and conserve it,\u201d but he still believes that the future of the human race isn\u2019t on earth but in space.&nbsp;\u201cThis Earth can support 10 billion people to a certain degree,\u201d he said, adding: \u201cThe solar system can support a trillion people, and we can continue to grow our civilization and grow our energy intensity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bezos believes that dramatic actions such as terraforming Mars could help to reduce some of the stress placed on Earth\u2019s ecosystem, and while it would be a huge effort it would also mean a \u201cdoubling of Earth.\u201d&nbsp;\u201cThen you\u2019re going from 10 billion to 20 billion people,\u201d Bezos added.<\/p>\n<p>Bezos believes that there will be millions of humans born off-world in space colonies inside supermassive floating structures that would slowly rotate in order to simulate gravity, and could have rivers and forests of their own.<\/p>\n<p>Read more at <a href=\"https:\/\/futurism.com\/the-byte\/jeff-bezos-people-not-earth\">Futurism here.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><i>Lucas Nolan is a reporter for Breitbart News covering issues of free speech and online censorship.
