Biden couldn\u2019t do his job, so now he wants Americans to lose theirs. The Republican National Committee is committed to fighting this egregious overreach every step of the way and has already filed a federal lawsuit to stop this unconstitutional decree.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s mandate&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2021\/11\/04\/statement-by-president-joe-biden-on-vaccination-requirements\/\">would force<\/a>&nbsp;small businesses with as few as 100 employees to require their workers to be vaccinated, strictly tested, or fired. He\u2019s also forcing a similar mandate on our nation\u2019s frontline health care workers, threatening their careers after they risked their lives to lead us through a pandemic. Between this and other regulations Biden has pushed, more than 100 million American workers will be under some type of Biden vaccine requirement \u2014 that\u2019s two-thirds of all workers in the country.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Biden\u2019s mandate is blatantly unconstitutional. Weaponizing the federal government to force private businesses to&nbsp;fire hardworking employees if they do not comply&nbsp;is a stunning&nbsp;abuse&nbsp;of power to accomplish&nbsp;his political&nbsp;agenda. Giving unelected, unaccountable bureaucrats the power to mandate vaccines for nearly one-third of the country is deeply undemocratic, and the White House knows it. Biden\u2019s Chief of Staff Ron Klain&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/klain-vaccine-coronvirus-mandate\">practically admitted<\/a>&nbsp;that they are using these regulations as \u201cthe ultimate work-around\u201d for federal vaccine requirements.<\/p>\n<p>But the mandate is not only unconstitutional. It flies in the face of individual rights.&nbsp;Making&nbsp;Americans choose between medical freedom and their livelihoods is a violation of personal liberty. (Mario Tama\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>There\u2019s an economic cost, too.&nbsp;Biden\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/gop.com\/rapid-response\/storm-of-inflation\/\">failed policies<\/a> have already caused prices&nbsp;to skyrocket, driving up costs for businesses and making it difficult for them to retain their customers. Now Biden\u2019s mandate would punish small businesses already stretched thin by Democrat lockdowns, labor shortages, and policies that paid workers to stay home rather than return to their jobs. Businesses who refuse to comply face <a href=\"https:\/\/www.al.com\/news\/2021\/11\/us-mandates-vaccines-or-covid-tests-for-companies-with-100-plus-employees-by-jan-4.html\">fines<\/a>&nbsp;ranging from $14,000 all the way up to over $136,000. That\u2019s a heavy burden for businesses that are already struggling to stay afloat.<\/p>\n<p>And yet, Biden had the audacity to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/statements-releases\/2021\/11\/04\/statement-by-president-joe-biden-on-vaccination-requirements\/\">assert<\/a>, \u201cVaccination requirements are good for the economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s obviously not the case. Already,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/money\/news\/nearly-half-a-million-shipping-containers-are-stuck-off-the-coast-of-southern-california-as-the-ports-operate-below-capacity\/ar-AAOSyVl\">half a million<\/a>&nbsp;shipping containers with&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2021\/10\/25\/business\/supply-chain-ports-inflation\/index.html\">$24 billion worth of goods<\/a>&nbsp;are stranded off the coast of California, unable to unload thanks to a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.journal-news.net\/journal-news\/biden-s-worker-shortage\/article_ce5178cf-45f5-5d87-a0f8-3279a606ddb5.html\">labor shortage<\/a>. The mandate will only make things worse. Some truckers are&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/money\/news\/vaccine-mandate-would-deepen-supply-chain-problems-trucker-warns\/ar-AAPBriK\">warning<\/a>&nbsp;that&nbsp;this&nbsp;mandate would cause many drivers to quit, compounding the worst driver shortage the industry has seen in almost 40 years. Railway employees are also threatening to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.law360.com\/articles\/1431662\/union-pacific-rail-unions-battle-over-vaccine-mandate\">strike<\/a>&nbsp;over the mandate. (Mario Tama\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Biden claims his vaccine mandates are \u201cemergency\u201d actions to protect workers, but if that\u2019s the case, why don\u2019t his rules go into effect until January? It\u2019s clear what this is really about: attacking our frontline workers, first responders, small businesses, and the rights of the American people.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s attempt&nbsp;to force&nbsp;Americans&nbsp;into getting onboard with his agenda is&nbsp;divisive and unacceptable. That\u2019s why the RNC is&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gop.com\/press-release\/rnc-intends-to-sue-biden-administration-on-unconstitutional-mandate\/\">suing<\/a>&nbsp;the Biden administration over its unconstitutional vaccine mandate. This is about so much more than a shot. It\u2019s about defending the principles of limited government and individual freedoms that built America and made it great.
