I got over 1,000 soldiers ready to go.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\" readability=\"8.5017421602787\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">A Far-Left activist in an FWISD Board meeting threatened parents all because they were criticizing CRT. The activist said that he would bring 1000 soldiers and that he will be &#8220;lock and loaded&#8221; next time. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/VmqNaQQh10\">pic.twitter.com\/VmqNaQQh10<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Carlos Turcios (@Carlos__Turcios) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Carlos__Turcios\/status\/1459268942653005827?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 12, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Parents like Hollie Plemmons, a stay-at-home mother, told Fox News she \u201cabsolutely\u201d felt \u201cthreatened\u201d by Austin\u2019s words.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m scared and I\u2019m afraid he\u2019s going to do something,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>School board meeting attendees shouted at Austin to address the board, and not the audience, but he reacted by stating, \u201cMy First Amendment rights!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Plemmons offered to speak with Austin, but he told her, \u201cYou\u2019re not intelligent, you are not intelligent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After his one minute to speak was ended, officers escorted Austin out of the room as he shouted, \u201cI\u2019ll bring my soldiers with me next time \u2026 locked and loaded.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Plemmons said the board should have stopped Austin from shouting at the audience, and that its decision to allow him to continue speaking was a \u201cdouble standard,\u201d since the board is supportive of CRT.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone there felt threatened,\u201d said Carol Guarneri, a grandmother of children in the district, also told Fox News. She added Austin had attended a prior school board meeting wearing \u201ctactical gear,\u201d a description that was confirmed by parent Missie Carra, Texas director of Parents\u2019 Rights in Education, who was not at the November 9 meeting but watched the video.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThis gentleman was profoundly angry, he was not putting on a performance,\u201d Guarneri said. \u201cWhen he made the statement that he had his thousand soldiers and they\u2019d be back locked and loaded, it was very frightening to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was thinking about calling my husband and having him come to the parking lot because I was afraid to come to my car,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Carra told Fox News watching the video of Austin\u2019s rant caused her to feel threatened.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s be honest, in my opinion, when anyone turns toward an audience of mothers and yells \u2018I have 1,000 people\u2019 &amp; \u2018we\u2019re locked and loaded,\u2019 it is difficult to misconstrue the intent of those words as anything else but a threat,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>A report at the <em>Daily Mail<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10203843\/Pro-CRT-parent-ex-member-black-militia-group-threatens-anti-CRT-parents.html\">indicated<\/a> Austin\u2019s legal name is Edgar Austin and he is a registered Democrat with a criminal record.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn 2004, he was convicted of public lewdness \u2026 in 2009, he was sentenced to prison for assaulting a family member \u2026 in 1993, Austin was sentenced to prison for sexual assault,\u201d the report stated. \u201cHe served three years behind bars.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fox News reported Austin insisted he was not threatening anyone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst Amendment rights, freedom of speech, need to be implemented,\u201d he said, adding that \u201clocked and loaded\u201d is \u201ca term I used when I coached football. It means, \u2018prepare and get ready.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Turcios, a member of the local Republican Party and organizer of the parent protest at the school board meeting, described Austin as a \u201cleftwing militia activist,\u201d and said he \u201cthreatened all of us since we were criticizing the practice of CRT.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI felt threatened as well since he is part of an armed group,\u201d Turcios said.<\/p>\n<p>Fox News reported a spokesman from the Fort Worth Police Department said, \u201cTo the best of my knowledge, our office wasn\u2019t made aware of any reports being made\u201d regarding threats by Austin.<\/p>\n<p>Austin <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-10203843\/Pro-CRT-parent-ex-member-black-militia-group-threatens-anti-CRT-parents.html\">said<\/a> he had not been contacted by law enforcement and does not expect to be arrested, the <em>Daily Mail<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been to school board meetings for quite some time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to that report, Austin\u2019s Facebook page indicates he works as an installation technician at Centennial Moisture Control, a \u201cfull service waterproofing and restoration company\u201d located in Irving, Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the <em>Daily Mail<\/em> noted that, although Austin states he is still a member of the Brotherhood Movement, a spokesperson for that group said he has \u201cmoved on\u201d from that organization which, he stated, does not promote or advocate for violence.
