And he said that Rittenhouse \u201ccallously\u201d ignored Rosenbaum\u2019s plight as he fled the crowd after the first shooting.<\/p>\n<p>Binger argued that Rittenhouse did \u201cnothing to demonstrate to the crowd that he isn\u2019t a threat to kill again,\u201d saying he should have fired warning shots. Therefore, he said, the actions of the mob of rioters who chased him were \u201centirely reasonable.\u201d He added that \u201cthe crowd has the right to stop another shooting,\u201d and was right to chase Rittenhouse, supposedly to stop him.<\/p>\n<p>Thus the prosecution argued for the \u201cright\u201d to vigilante action \u2014 though by the crowd of rioters, not by the defendant.<\/p>\n<p>However, at one point, the prosecutor admitted that Rittenhouse was acting \u201cto save his own skin,\u201d appearing to admit that he believed himself to be in mortal danger \u2014 a belief that, if reasonable according to the jury, would result in his acquittal.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecution presented its closing arguments first, which were to be followed by the defense\u2019s arguments, and then by the prosecution once more. Earlier, Judge Bruce Schroeder had&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/2nd-amendment\/2021\/11\/15\/watch-judge-dismisses-weapons-charge-against-kyle-rittenhouse\/\">dismissed<\/a> the sole weapons charge against Rittenhouse.<\/p>\n<p><em>Joel B.
