According to the&nbsp;<em>Post\u2019s&nbsp;<\/em>Paul Farhi, the paper \u201ctook the unusual step of correcting and removing large portions of two articles, published in March 2017 and February 2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The reports had claimed that a Belarusian American businessman named Sergei Milan was a key source of the dossier, and had provided the most salacious allegation in the dossier to Steele, but the paper\u2019s executive editor Sally Buzbee wrote that the&nbsp;<em>Post&nbsp;<\/em>could no longer stand by the accuracy of that reporting.<\/p>\n<p>Farhi <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/lifestyle\/style\/media-washington-post-steele-dossier\/2021\/11\/12\/f7c9b770-43d5-11ec-a88e-2aa4632af69b_story.html\">wrote<\/a>: \u201cThe newspaper removed references to Millian as Steele\u2019s source in online and archived versions of the original articles. The stories themselves won\u2019t be retracted. A dozen other Post stories that made the same assertion were also corrected and amended.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 2017 and 2019 reports were written by <em>Post<\/em>&nbsp;reporters Rosalind S.
