The order penalizes companies up to about $14,000 for every serious violation, and up to about $140,000 for a willful violation.<\/p>\n<p>The Dhillon Law Group and Alliance Defending Freedom are representing The Daily Wire in the legal battle. They filed the lawsuit against the Biden administration on November 4, hours after the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) published roughly 500-pages worth of regulations and standards on Biden\u2019s executive order.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Daily Wire will not comply with President Biden\u2019s tyrannical vaccine mandate, and we are suing the Biden Administration to put a stop to their gross overreach,\u201d Daily Wire Co-Founder and Co-CEO Jeremy Boreing said at the time. \u201cPresident Biden, the federal government, social media, and the establishment media have conspired to rob Americans of their freedoms in the name of public health. They have broken faith with the American people through conflicting messaging, false information, and by suppressing data and perspectives with which they disagree.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-federal-court-freezes-biden-vaccine-mandate-over-possible-grave-statutory-and-constitutional-issues\">stayed<\/a> Biden\u2019s order on November 6 after receiving numerous petitions that \u201cgive cause to believe there are grave statutory and constitutional issues with the Mandate,\u201d according to the court.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the federal court\u2019s order, the White House has continued to push the mandate. White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Monday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-admin-tells-businesses-to-implement-vaccine-mandate-despite-federal-court-halting-mandate\">urged<\/a> businesses to begin complying with the order immediately and not wait until its legal concerns are resolved.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople should not wait,\u201d Jean Pierre said. \u201cWe say: Do not wait to take actions that will keep your workplace safe. It is important and critical to do, and waiting to get more people vaccinated will lead to more outbreaks and sickness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Wire\u2019s lawsuit alleges that the Biden administration lacks constitutional and statutory authority to issue the employer mandate, and that the mandate failed to meet the requirements for issuing a rule taking effect immediately without the normal process of considering public comments.
