Roger Marshall (R-KS) argued that President Joe Biden realizes he can\u2019t make electric vehicles economically viable and so \u201cthey\u2019re going to raise the price of gasoline.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Marshall said, \u201cThe president realizes that they can never bring the cost of running an electric car down to what it is \u2014 the cost for an internal combustion engine. So, they\u2019re going to raise the price of gasoline. So, just think about what he\u2019s done since he\u2019s taken over. I said back in February, gas would be $5 a gallon by Christmas and we\u2019re on our way there.
