‘Pelosi’s Interview: A Confusing Clown Show’
Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) Mixes Up Names and Calls IRS Whistleblower Hearing a “Clown Show”
During a recent interview on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) found herself in a bit of a mix-up when discussing the IRS whistleblowers who testified in front of Congress. Host Dana Bash asked Pelosi about the allegations made by the whistleblowers regarding the Justice Department’s handling of the investigation into President Biden’s son, Hunter.
Pelosi’s response, however, seemed to confuse multiple things. Instead of addressing the issue at hand, she mixed up the hearing with the IRS whistleblowers and a separate hearing involving Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, whom she mistakenly referred to as “Joe Kennedy.”
When Bash asked if Pelosi believed that politics played a role in the investigation, Pelosi dismissed the hearing as a “ridiculous clown show” orchestrated by Republicans. She criticized the inclusion of Joe Kennedy, who was discussing censorship, and the use of unrelated pictures during the hearing.
Despite being given another opportunity to comment on the fairness of the Department of Justice’s investigation, Pelosi expressed doubt and questioned the credibility of the whistleblowers. She pointed out that the U.S. attorney involved was a Trump attorney, implying bias in their opinions.
It’s clear that Pelosi’s remarks during the interview left room for confusion and raised questions about her understanding of the situation. Watch the interview below:
