NFL QB Praises ‘Sound of Freedom,’ Talks to Reporters with Kids
The Sound of Freedom Receives Rave Reviews from NFL Quarterbacks
The success of ”Sound of Freedom” continues to soar, with a recent endorsement from a star NFL quarterback.
This powerful movie, which sheds light on the horrifying reality of child sex trafficking, has exceeded all expectations at the box office since its release last month.
Despite lukewarm reviews from critics, including dismissive remarks from outlets like Rolling Stone, the film is gaining high-profile fans in the National Football League.
The latest accolades come from Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
According to Fox News, Tagovailoa recently spoke to reporters about team bonding activities during a rare off day, which included dinner and “movie hopping.”
While the mainstream blockbuster “Oppenheimer” was on their list, Tagovailoa had a different suggestion for the reporters, especially those with children.
“‘Sound of Freedom’ is good,” Tagovailoa said. “Yeah, ‘Sound of Freedom’ is definitely really good.”
The 25-year-old Alabama alum added, “You guys should watch that, especially you guys with kids.”

It’s not surprising that Tagovailoa is a fan of “Sound of Freedom.”
The movie has deep religious roots and has resonated particularly with Christians, which aligns with Tagovailoa’s strong faith.
While Tagovailoa’s endorsement may have been expected, the film is also finding support from other NFL players.
Polarizing Baltimore Ravens receiver Odell Beckham Jr. mentioned the film last week on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter:
“Sound of Freedom,” Beckham posted. “I don’t even know what to say. That’s heavy.”

Tagovailoa and the Dolphins will kick off the regular season on Sept. 10 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
