The bill, which passed with strong bipartisan support in both the Senate (77-20) and the House (312-112), includes a 3.8% military pay raise and allocates over $900 billion for defense spending. The 3,086-page NDAA also codifies several of Trump’s 2025 executive orders, such as the “Golden Dome” missile defense program and a ban on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the Department of War. The signing event is scheduled for 6 p.m.

The NDAA passed fairly uncontroversially, breezing through the Senate in a 77-20 vote and through the House with a 312-112 vote.

As the Washington Examiner previously reported, notable provisions in the 3,086-page defense spending bill include a 3.8% pay raise for the military and over $900 billion in defense spending, among other initiatives.
This year’s NDAA also codifies several of Trump’s executive orders issued in 2025, including the “Golden Dome” missile defense program and the prohibition of diversity, equity, and inclusion programs within the Department of War.
