LSU-shreveport also had a historic season, finishing undefeated with a 59-0 record and winning the national Association of Intercollegiate Athletics championship. The visit includes a tour of the Capitol and is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.

The LSU Tigers won the NCAA Division I championship for the eighth time this year, granting them their third White House visit, with the previous two taking place in 2009 and 1991.
