During the briefing, it was highlighted that SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits will cease being distributed starting November 1 if the shutdown continues. Additionally, Kelly Loeffler, head of the Small Business Governance, was scheduled to join congressional Republicans to discuss the shutdown’s impact on American small businesses.

In the fourth week of the government shutdown, head of the Small Business Administration Kelly Loeffler will join the congressional Republicans in the press briefing to discuss the shutdown’s impacts on American small businesses.
SNAP benefits will run out for American citizens at the end of the day on Friday if the shutdown is still ongoing.
