VIDEO: IDF Destroys Hezbollah Weapon Warehouses in Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces Strike Hezbollah Weapon Depots in Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have successfully destroyed two large weapon depots belonging to the Iranian-backed Hezbollah terrorist organization inside Lebanon. This decisive action took place near the coastal city of Sidon, approximately thirty miles north of the Israel-Lebanon border.
In an official statement, the IDF declared, “IDF fighter jets struck two Hezbollah weapons storage facilities adjacent to the city of Sidon in Lebanon. The strike was carried out in response to the launch of a UAV toward the Lower Galilee in northern Israel.”
The IDF further revealed that the UAV was most likely launched from Lebanon by the Hezbollah terrorist organization. The incident is currently under review. Additionally, the IDF conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in the areas of Meiss El Jabal and al-Adisa in Lebanon.

Hezbollah, known as the most powerful and well-armed terrorist group globally, receives approximately $1 billion annually from Iran. With 20,000 to 25,000 full-time fighters and a significant reserve force, Hezbollah poses a significant threat.
Their arsenal includes:
- 17 air-to-surface missile systems
- 100 anti-ship missiles (range: 200 km)
- Hundreds of UAVs (range: 400 km)
- Hundreds of precision-guided missiles (range: 70-250 km)
- 400 long-range rockets and missiles (range: 180-700 km)
- 4,800 middle-range rockets (range: 40-180 km)
- 65,000 short-range rockets (range: 20-40 km)
- 140,000 mortars
How does Hezbollah’s support from Iran contribute to its ability to carry out acts of terrorism?
The strike on Hezbollah weapon depots comes as a response to the increasing threats posed by the terrorist organization and its Iranian backers. Hezbollah, designated as a terrorist organization by numerous countries, including the United States and Israel, poses a direct threat to regional stability and security.
The IDF’s operation demonstrates Israel’s commitment to combating terrorism and protecting its citizens. Israel has consistently warned against the proliferation of weapons in Lebanon and the strengthening of Hezbollah’s military capabilities. This strike sends a clear message that Israel will not tolerate acts of aggression or attempts to harm its civilians.
Hezbollah, supported by Iran, has been involved in numerous attacks against Israel in the past. The organization has carried out missile strikes, suicide bombings, and kidnappings, among other acts of terrorism. Israel has a right to defend itself against these threats and take necessary action to ensure the safety of its people.
By targeting the weapon depots, the IDF has not only dealt a significant blow to Hezbollah’s ability to carry out attacks, but also disrupts the flow of weapons from Iran to the terrorist organization. It is well-known that Iran provides financial and military support to Hezbollah, enabling it to continue its destabilizing activities in the region. Israel’s actions aim to prevent the strengthening of Hezbollah and reduce the overall threat it poses.
It is crucial to highlight that Israel’s strike specifically targeted weapon depots and terrorist infrastructure, not Lebanese civilians or infrastructure. Israel has consistently stated its intention to distinguish between terrorist elements and the general population. The IDF takes every measure possible to minimize civilian casualties and avoid collateral damage.
However, it is unfortunate that Hezbollah continues to operate within civilian areas, using them as shields to protect its assets. This deliberate tactic puts innocent lives at risk and hampers the IDF’s efforts to neutralize the terrorist organization. Hezbollah must be held accountable for its actions, and the international community should address its use of civilian infrastructure as a violation of international law.
Israel’s defensive actions against Hezbollah serve as a reminder that threats to its security will not go unanswered. The IDF remains vigilant in protecting Israeli citizens and will take necessary measures to ensure their safety. It is crucial for the international community to support Israel’s efforts to combat terrorism and hold terrorist organizations accountable for their actions.
The Israel Defense Forces’ strike on Hezbollah weapon depots in Lebanon is a necessary and proportionate response to the threat posed by the terrorist organization. Israel will continue to take action to safeguard its citizens and ensure regional stability.
