A Far-Left Protester Confronts Senator Joe Manchin at Harvard Event
A heated incident unfolded at a Harvard Institute of Politics event on Friday when a far-left protester confronted Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) and hurled insults at him. The protester, from a group called Climate Defiance, accused Manchin of betraying their future and called him a “sick f***.”
The confrontation occurred just moments after several leftists disrupted a talk given by Manchin at the Harvard Kennedy School. These disruptions were in response to Manchin’s support for natural gas pipelines.
Without hesitation, Manchin confronted the protester face-to-face, prompting one of his aides to intervene and physically remove the protester from the room.
The protester’s group, Climate Defiance, proudly boasted about the incident on social media, claiming they had humiliated Manchin in front of a crowd of Harvard elites. They labeled him a “barbaric murderer” and a “hideous fiend.”
Despite the confrontation, Manchin extended an olive branch to the other protesters, offering to engage in a conversation with them. However, they adamantly refused and declared they would not back down.

Investigation Underway
A spokesperson from the Kennedy School confirmed that the Harvard University Police Department is currently investigating the incident. According to the spokesperson, the protesters were ordered to leave the campus by a Harvard University police officer, and they complied.
