Rep. Abigail Spanberger Announces Run for Virginia Governorship
Vulnerable House Democrat Rep. Abigail Spanberger (Va.) made a bold announcement on Monday, revealing that she will not seek reelection to her current seat. Instead, she will be running for the governorship of Virginia.
“I’m officially running to become the next Governor of Virginia,” Spanberger wrote on X. “I’m a former CIA case officer, former federal agent, current Member of Congress, and mom to three great kids.
