In a town hall this week, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D., Minn.) blamed the uptick in crime in Minneapolis on the city’s police force, saying they are choosing “to not fulfill their oath of office.”
Omar, however, was a proponent of the defund the police movement last year when riots broke out over the death of George Floyd.
