LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – The Teamsters union representing U.S. workers at United Parcel Service (UPS.N) announced on Thursday that it will take action against the firing of approximately 35 newly organized workers at the company. The approximately 35 affected specialist and administrative workers at UPS’s Centennial hub in Louisville, Kentucky, joined forces with Teamsters Local 89 earlier this year, according to the union.
