U.S. Air Push Dumps On Politico Over Republican Candidate’s Leaked Military Sexual Assault Records
AMERICA Air Pressure seemed to refute Politico’s declare that a public record information request had eventually given the outlet usage of personnel records – including information on an alleged sexual assault – owned by congressional Republican candidate Jennifer-Ruth Green.
Green, operating for a homely home seat in Indiana, issued a open public declaration after Politico released a profile on her behalf and included information which could only attended from her personnel information. She blamed her opponent, Congressman Frank Mrvan (D-IN), for acquiring the information illegally.

“I really believe after expressing my assault against the assistance of some in my own command, my profession was intentionally derailed. The paperwork Congressman Mrvan obtained contains details that reflects me in a poor light illegally,” she continuing.
Politico maintained that the info had result from someone “outside” Mrvan’s strategy and had been obtained with a public record information request – but Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) raised the issue to the Air Force straight, saying that it had been illegal for such information to be released minus the consent of the individual.
“[Officer Performance Reports] could just be released if that associate agreed, on paper, to release their paperwork,” Cotton wrote, adding, “Of extra concern may be the appearance that [the] celebration in charge of releasing these Air Force papers may be exploiting private issues, including a sexual assault, for partisan purposes to hinder the democratic process days before an election just. I’m therefore formally requesting a complete accounting of how and on which basis these docs were launched or leaked, and who’s responsible.”
The Air Push well informed Fox News Digital inside a statement that there is no record of Green’s records released pursuant to any public record information request. The statement noted that when such documents were actually released also, certain details will be redacted to be able to protect individual personal privacy and sensitive info.
“We can not confirm any documents with this specific were launched by the Department of the Air Power beneath the Freedom of Information Work. Generally, any release of details that, if disclosed, would invade another individual’s personal privacy will be examined under Exemption FOIA 5U.S.C. §552 (b)(6) with redactions designed to ensure compliance with regulations. Each document will be reviewed on a complete case by case basis, ” an oxygen Force spokesman explained.
Mrvan has denied any link with the files, tweeting, “Neither myself nor anyone associated with my marketing campaign provided any military service report to Politico.”

Green has managed to get clear that she believes he could be responsible still, telling Fox News Digital, “I really believe Congressman Frank Mrvan illegally obtained those paperwork and has been floating them around to [the] push. That’s what our political group told us, that they had been farming it out to many different press outlets to notice who could write an extremely disgusting, ugly smear item against me with the intent to paint me as a disgraced military officer .”
