Turning Point USA goes on fundraising blitz days after Kirk’s death
The article reports that Turning Point USA has launched an online fundraising campaign shortly after the assassination of it’s former CEO and co-founder, Charlie Kirk. The fundraiser includes a video highlighting Kirk’s accomplishments as a right-wing activist and a eulogy praising his legacy, alongside donation options ranging from $25 to $100,000. The campaign aims to continue Kirk’s work and support his legacy, with additional donation pages set up to aid his family.
Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while speaking at a campus event at Utah Valley University. The suspect, tyler robinson, has been arrested and charged with murder and related offenses, though the motive remains unclear. Authorities are investigating whether Robinson’s actions were linked to Kirk’s views on gender identity, as Robinson lived with a transgender roommate.
Turning Point USA emphasized their commitment to “fight harder” and “defend America’s future” in honor of Kirk, signaling ongoing activism in the aftermath of his death. The article also notes that media outreach to Turning Point USA for comment went unanswered.
Turning Point USA goes on fundraising blitz days after Kirk’s death
Turning Point USA has begun soliciting donations just days after the assassination of its former CEO and co-founder, Charlie Kirk.
The online fundraiser, which launched on Saturday, includes a roughly three-minute clip highlighting Kirk’s achievements as a right-wing activist, as well as a lengthy eulogy praising his legacy. Just below that is a donation option, with amounts ranging from $25 to as much as $100,000.
The fundraiser appears to be part of a wider campaign from the group to “further Charlie Kirk’s legacy” after he was shot and killed while speaking at a campus event in Utah on Wednesday.
In an X post on Saturday night, Turning Point USA listed various donation pages, including one to support his family and another to honor his legacy.
The latter includes a statement from the group saying, “This is the time to fight harder, grow faster, and unleash the true power of the grassroots machine Charlie created,” with the option to donate anywhere from $50 to $50,000.
“We will make Charlie proud. We will defend America’s future. And we will not stop until freedom prevails. The fight continues,” the statement added.
Earlier this week, Kirk was speaking at one of his signature “Prove Me Wrong” debate events at Utah Valley University when he was shot and killed by a shooter who was on top of a nearby campus building.
A suspect, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, has since been arrested and charged with murder, obstruction, and felony firearm charges.

A motive, however, is largely unknown as officials are now reportedly investigating whether Robinson believed Kirk’s views on gender identity were “hateful,” after it was revealed on Saturday that Robinson’s roommate identifies as transgender.
The Washington Examiner reached out to Turning Point USA for comment but did not receive a response.
