Gabbard emphasized the importance of upholding the vision of the country’s founders, who intended for the United States to be a nation governed by laws, not individuals. Speaking to host Sean Hannity, she expressed her concerns about President Biden and his administration’s politicization of the Department of Justice for their personal and political gain, rather than prioritizing the nation’s interests.
“We must acknowledge that they are deliberately undermining the very foundation of our democracy, which is the rule of law,” Gabbard passionately stated.
The former congresswoman, who ran for president in 2020, proceeded to outline how the Biden administration was undermining the system. Firstly, they were aggressively targeting former President Trump and his supporters. Secondly, they were taking measures to shield and safeguard themselves, particularly Joe Biden and his embattled son, Hunter Biden.
“The American people need to fully grasp the gravity of this situation and recognize the threat to our democracy. We must take action to put an end to this and prevent it from becoming the new norm in the United States of America,” Gabbard urged. “Otherwise, any party in power will feel justified in using law enforcement and the Department of Justice to pursue their political opponents.”
