Former ⁤Fox ⁢News Host Tucker Carlson Believes Trump Should Have ⁢Participated in First Presidential ⁤Debate

In a recent interview with Barstool Sports founder Dave ‌Portnoy, former Fox News host tucker-carlson” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Tucker Carlson

expressed his⁣ opinion on the first Republican ‍Party presidential debate and the age of both former President Donald ⁢Trump and President Joe Biden.

Portnoy suggested that Trump should have participated in the debate, to which Carlson agreed, stating, “For the betterment of the country, I think he should be on the debate stage.” Carlson ⁤also mentioned his personal enjoyment of ⁢debates.

During the conversation, Carlson took⁣ a subtle jab at the organizations hosting‌ the debates, describing them as ‍”rotten and corrupt.”

Portnoy further speculated ⁢that ⁢there might be a shift within the Democratic party, ‍suggesting ⁣they may‍ be preparing for an alternative ⁤candidate. Carlson⁣ interrupted to express his agreement with⁣ Portnoy’s observation.

Both Carlson and Portnoy shared the belief that Trump and Biden are too old to hold the presidency. ⁢Carlson stated, “To ⁣be honest, I think both Trump and Biden ‍are too old. I don’t think you⁣ should be able to ⁣be that old to be president.”⁣ Trump⁢ is 77‍ years old, while Biden is 80.
