Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) suggested that President Donald Trump’s recent vein condition stems from the intense pressure he faces from “fighting the radicals” in the United States,describing it as a daily struggle similar to a fistfight. The White House recently announced that Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a condition common in people over 70, where damaged veins cause blood to pool, leading to symptoms like swelling and discoloration in the legs and hands. White House press secretary Karoline leavitt stated that the discoloration on Trump’s hands is due to frequent handshaking and routine aspirin use, emphasizing that the president remains in excellent health.

Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) suggested President Donald Trump‘s vein condition developed because he has been focused on “fighting the radicals.”
“The pressure on somebody like President Trump right now, not just from outside entities … all over the world but also fighting the radicals in this country,” Tuberville said on WABC 770 AM’s The Cats Roundtable. ”Every day it’s almost like a fistfight.”
The White House said last week that Trump was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency. Trump had been photographed in recent days with swelling in his lower legs and bruises on his hand.
The condition is common for older adults over age 70. It occurs when veins in the legs and arms become damaged and cause blood to pool in a particular area rather than flowing toward the heart and can result in blue or reddish-brown patches on the skin.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt also said Trump’s discolored hands were from “frequent handshaking” and routine aspirin.
“This is a well-known and benign side effect of aspirin therapy, and the president remains in excellent health, which I think all of you witness on a daily basis here,” she said Thursday at a White House press briefing.
