Former President Donald Trump will be in Palm Beach, Florida on Saturday in hopes of raising more money in one night than has been done ever before in a presidential race.

Hedge fund portfolio manager John Paulson is hosting the event in his home with the expectation it will raise $43 million on Trump’s behalf. Donors in attendance can contribute as much as $814,600 per person, with the first $6,600 going to the campaign per the invitation. Another portion of $5,000 will go towards the former president’s legal fees. This leaves the Republican National Committee with a max of $413,000 per attendee.

The Washington Examiner reached out to Paulson for comment.

Fellow hedge fund manager Robert Mercer and his daughter Rebekah, oil magnate Harold Hamm, hotelier Robert Bigelow, and casino mogul Steve Wynn are expected to be in attendance. Other “special guests” include Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC), entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum, all three of whom launched their own campaigns against Trump. Since dropping out, all three have endorsed the former president.

This comes after Trump’s opponent President Joe Biden reported a $90 million fundraising haul for the month of March. His campaign raised $187 million in the first quarter and began the second quarter with $192 million in cash on hand. Still, his most successful fundraising day raised $26 million at a New York City event that featured former presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton.

Meanwhile, the RNC and Trump have raised $65.6 million.
