Jeremy Edwards, a former White House spokesman under Biden, highlighted on social media that anyone viewing his LinkedIn work history now sees Trump’s image alongside his profile. The White House’s communications director responded humorously, confirming this was intentional. Other former administration officials, including Geoffrey U.L. Preudhomme Jr., suggested colleagues update their photos to reflect the Biden-Harris White House instead. Notably, former President Barack obama’s LinkedIn page also now displays Trump’s photo next to his presidential work experience, though Obama has not publicly commented on this change.

The Trump White House updated its profile picture on LinkedIn to simply show President Donald Trump’s face, causing a stir among Biden administration alumni and former Democratic workers.
Former White House spokesman Jeremy Edwards, who worked under the Biden administration, posted photos of his LinkedIn work experience on X, saying anyone who visits his page will now see Trump’s face.
“I guess that’s what I get for using LinkedIn,” Edwards said on X.
White House Director of Communications Steven Cheung reposted Edwards’s statement on X, saying, “that’s the whole point, dummy.”
Geoffrey U.L. Preudhomme Jr., another alumni of the previous administration, also highlighted the change, encouraging his former colleagues to change their icons to “the Biden-Harris White House.”

Former President Barack Obama’s LinkedIn page also displays Trump’s photo. The picture is next to Obama’s work experience as president of the United States.
