Trump criticizes GOP rivals as unreliable and disloyal during Iowa campaign
Former President Donald Trump Slams Republican Primary Opponents as “Unreliable and Disloyal”
Former President Donald Trump is not holding back in his criticism of his two chief Republican primary opponents as he gears up for a series of rallies in Iowa. In a fiery post on Truth Social, Trump took aim at Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, labeling them as “unreliable and disloyal.”
Trump’s Take on DeSantis
“Ron DeSanctimonious has one minor flaw against the Democrats — He has ZERO personality. If I didn’t endorse him, he would have finished, during the Primary, at 3%. NO LOYALTY! Bobblehead is now in third place, Jeff Roe has taken all of his money and quit, and he should get on a plane and go back to Florida today. He never told the people, during the Florida Governor campaign, that they would be abandoned. Just like Sloppy Chris Christie did to New Jersey (He finished up at an 8% approval rating!)”
Trump’s Critique of Haley
“Birdbrain said, over and over again, that she would NEVER run against the President, ‘He was a GREAT President’ – and then she ran. Two very unreliable and disloyal people! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
Trump’s scathing remarks come as he prepares for his rallies in Iowa, where DeSantis and Haley have also been actively campaigning. While DeSantis and Haley are set to face off in a GOP presidential primary debate on CNN, Trump has chosen to participate in a Fox News town hall instead.
Despite the competition, Trump remains the frontrunner in the GOP primary polls in Iowa, with DeSantis and Haley trailing behind.
