Trump expects to receive a historic number of black and Latino votes
Former President Donald Trump Predicts Record-Breaking Black and Hispanic Votes
Former President Donald Trump made a bold prediction at a rally in Las Vegas, just days before the GOP-run caucuses in Nevada. He confidently declared that he would secure the highest number of black and Hispanic votes ever recorded for a Republican presidential candidate.
“Every disaster Joe Biden has created for Hispanic Americans, I will get it solved,” Trump proclaimed. “On Day One, we will start that process. That’s why we’re going to win the record share of Latino votes for the first time ever. And we’ll get the highest number of African American votes ever recorded. I think pretty much everyone is agreeing on that.”
Interestingly, President Joe Biden seems to be losing support among black voters. According to a USA Today poll, he currently holds the support of only 63% of black voters, compared to the 87% he received in the 2020 general election.
Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have been actively campaigning in South Carolina, hoping to gain more support from the black community ahead of the state’s Democratic primary on Feb. 3.
Meanwhile, Trump has already secured victories in the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary. After the Nevada caucuses, the focus will shift to South Carolina’s Republican primary on Feb. 24.
