Trump reveals his secret to staying composed amidst four indictments.
Former President Donald Trump: Support from the American People Keeps Me Going Amid Multiple Indictments
In a recent interview with Tucker Carlson on X, formerly Twitter, former President Donald Trump revealed that the unwavering support he receives from the American people helps him stay motivated despite facing multiple criminal charges brought by Democratic prosecutors.
As the GOP front-runner in the 2024 presidential race, Trump has already been indicted by the U.S. Department of Justice and Fulton County, Georgia, for questioning the integrity of the 2020 election. Additionally, the DOJ indicted him in June for alleged mishandling of classified documents, and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged him in April for allegedly falsifying business records during the 2016 presidential campaign.
During the interview, Carlson asked Trump how he manages to stay cheerful despite being indicted so frequently. Trump responded, “I think it’s a lot easier because I’m so high in the polls, because it means the people get it.”

Trump emphasized that the American people recognize the fraudulent nature of the charges against him. He specifically mentioned Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who claimed he had no right to challenge an election. Trump questioned why individuals like Stacy Abrams and Hillary Clinton, who continue to challenge his election, are not held to the same standard.
“The same people that are saying, ’He’s challenging an election,’ challenged my election, and they did it with slates. They did it with all sorts of things. They were very bad about it,” Trump asserted.
Despite the legal battles he faces, Trump remains resolute, thanks to the support he receives from the American people. To learn more about his perspective, you can read the full article here.
