Trump Cleared of Any Wrongdoing After Four-Year Investigation
Former President Donald Trump has been vindicated once again, as he has been cleared of yet another baseless accusation made by Democrats. After an extensive four-year review, a Department of Justice watchdog has officially determined that Trump did not improperly influence the FBI’s decision to keep its headquarters in Washington, D.C. This finding is detailed in a DOJ report.
The controversy surrounding the FBI’s potential move from the J. Edgar Hoover Building in downtown D.C. has been ongoing for two decades. In 2014, the bureau seriously considered relocating to new offices. The initial plan was to sell the building to a developer and construct a new facility elsewhere. However, this plan fell through when it was discovered that the sale would not cover the cost of the new building.
As a result, the FBI devised a new proposal to demolish the Hoover building and construct their new facility on the same site. It was at this point that conspiracy theories began to emerge from the Democrat Party.
Democrats accused Trump of interfering in the FBI’s plans to benefit himself financially. However, the Department of Justice’s Office of the Inspector General found no evidence to support these claims. The report explicitly states that Trump and other FBI officials did not consider the location of the Trump International Hotel or the potential impact on Trump’s financial interests when making the decision.
FBI Director Christopher Wray also confirmed that there was no pressure from the White House regarding the matter. He emphasized that Trump was not involved in the plans and that the decisions were not influenced by the President.
This latest exoneration is just another example of how Democrats have weaponized the federal establishment to relentlessly attack and undermine Trump. Their goal is not only to prevent him from running for office again but to completely destroy him and anyone associated with him, including his supporters.
